Father Daughter Dance 2009
They had a great time this year - complete with dinner at Applebees'. No blizzard this year - the weather was perfect. Hard to believe this is their third year going to the dance.
I just moved into a house where a 13 yr. old Autistic boy lives with his mom. Very high functioning. If I wasn't told of his condition I wouldn't have known. From that I was inducted into doing some fundraising for the LA Autism Org. using the following.
With the help of the FBI, LAPD and others we did a not-for-profit DVD "Kids And Strangers (and Acquaintances.") I brought it to a recent kick-off meeting and a lot of parents purchased it and several FR teams are using it. With today's economy it's easier to offer a great product than just ask for a donation.
